"Our subs run as a 12 month payment so would be running through the summer months anyway, the club is dependant on subs to pay for our many expenses. As I am sure everyone understands this is a very rare and unique situation but the season has only been cut short by one month so please advise people to keep there subs going so we can still have a functioning club ready to go at the start of the new season in September."
We rely on the income from hall hire, the bar and the kitchen to bridge the financial gap in meeting all of our costs, these costs continue throughout the year regardless of the season. If we are to all meet up again in September to start the new season then we are now relying solely on membership fees, and we need them more than ever.
It's also worth emphasising that the vast majority of people at the club are volunteers and we receive no local or central government finance, we have to be self-sufficient.
All players at the club should pay appropriate membership subscriptions without exception, and these should be left to run all year unless you have left the club.
